Situated on six picturesque, tree-filled acres northwest of Chicago in Wheeling, Illinois, Ramah Day Camp is a warm and nurturing environemtn where kids come to learn Jewish values, to grow socially and - most importantly - to have fun! At Ramah Day Camp, your entering kindergarten through sixth-grade child is welcomed into a strong community shaped by care and respect, and built on a foundation of Jewish ideals. As they enjoy exciting daily camp activities, including sports, swimming, dancing, cookouts, singing, arts and crafts and more, Ramah Day campers meet new friends, learn new skills and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Our team is made up of talentated people who create an enchanting, enrivhing and nurturing camp experience for every child. Before arriving at camp, our group of trained professionals, specialty instructors, Jewish educators and college-age counselors undergo intensive instruction in safety, child development, group dynamics and conflict resolution. We work together and we partner with you - the parents - to ensure a safe, fun and supportive environment where kids are able to thrive. Every Friday parents receive a newsletter which highlights the week's activities.

Our goal at Ramah Day Camp is to help your child grow. Through fun, stimulating, group-focused activities that seamlessly integrate Judaic values and the Hebrew language, we encourage and support the social development of each child within the group. Our campers learn skills in leadership, problem=solving and decision-making - all while having fun!
