ENTERING GRADE 9

8 – Week Experience

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program provides entering 9th graders with opportunities to assist and learn from activity counselors and madrichim (counselors) within the caring and fun atmosphere of Ramah. A Rosh Eidah (division head) serves as the CIT trainer.

Program overview:

CITs will spend most of the camp day assisting in a younger group or activity area like art, sports, nature, cooking. CITs will submit requests for the age/activity they would like to work with.
CITs will participate in counselor training with an emphasis on developing responsibility and leadership skills.
The CIT program will include goal setting and team building activities to promote both individual and group growth.
CITs can enjoy all their favorite camp activities while supporting younger campers!
